Université Côte d’Azur (UCA) is organizing “My Thesis in 180 Seconds,” a challenge for doctoral candidates and young doctors: to explain their research topic to the general public in French, using simple terms, with the possible support of one slide, all in 3 minutes flat!
This year, 20 doctoral candidates will boldly take up this challenge in front of a jury composed of personalities from entrepreneurship, research, and communication. The best candidate will then participate in the national semi-final to be held in Paris on June 13 (1 candidate per university group), and if selected, in the national final on June 14.
Inspired by “Three Minute Thesis (3MT®)” in Australia, this scientific popularization contest is organized in France by the Conference of University Presidents (CPU) and the CNRS.
