Cœur de Pirate is embodied by the Quebecoise Béatrice Martin. Not quite sure what to do with her piano skills (which she has been playing since the age of 3), she started to externalize everything happening around her in song in 2007. She posted her first songs online and was quickly noticed by a Quebec label, La Grosse Boîte. Cœur de Pirate opened for Benjamin Biolay at the Francofolies de Montréal in 2007. In November 2011, Cœur de Pirate released a second album titled “Blonde” featuring heartfelt lyrics that truly define Béatrice Martin’s style. Just a few weeks after its release, the album was already platinum in France.

In 2011, the Wu Tang Clan “rocked” the Théâtre de Verdure in Nice with a concert that will remain unforgettable. A year later, it’s METHOD MAN – its most eminent MC – who returns to Nice for a solo show accompanied by Dj Mathematic (Wu Tang Clan’s DJ) and Streetlife.

1995 (pronounced one Nine Nine Five) the French Hip Hop revelation of 2011, will also be in Nice for the first time.
Nekfeu, Sneazy west, Fonky Flav, Alpha wan, Areno Jazz and Dj Lo’ will be there to “S’enjailler” and present ‘La Source’ and ‘La Suite’ their new EP (released March 5).
