In the Alpes-Maritimes, 35,000 households are in a situation of energy vulnerability. Numerous initiatives are being implemented to encourage residents to carry out insulation work and replace boilers. However, it is difficult for a homeowner to clearly understand all these aids.
This is why the Alpes-Maritimes Department is implementing the “Confort Energie 06” program. This initiative is launched for a 3-year period until 2023 in the Alpes-Maritimes territory excluding the Metropolis, which offers its own program. The program includes two components:
The Energy Renovation Support Service (SARE);
The Social Energy Management Fund (FSME).
SARE
To help homeowners and condominium managers make the right choices and benefit from the best possible aids, the Alpes-Maritimes Department, through its GREEN Deal policy, is launching the Confort Energie 06 * one-stop service. This personalized service of information and technical, administrative, and financial assistance is aimed at all individuals and small businesses (less than 1000 sqm).
The total financial commitment is nearly โฌ3 million, in partnership with the State (Energy Savings Certificates), ADEME (French Environment and Energy Management Agency), the Region, 6 EPCIs of the territory, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Chamber of Trades and Crafts, and 3 private partners.
The FSME
This direct financial aid from the Department allows landlords or occupiers to conduct audits and undertake energy renovation works. The grant, allocated under certain conditions, can amount to up to โฌ700 for an energy audit and โฌ11,200 for energy renovation works. It should be noted that these should enable a 35% energy savings and achieve energy class D. The FSME complements existing national financial aids in the field, such as MaPrimeRenovโ. โฌ10 million will be dedicated to this fund until 2023.
