Tomorrow from 6 PM, cooking and writing will come together for an evening at the Port of Nice during the event at Restaurant L’Agua, where the inauguration of the establishment’s new “Bar à huitres et à Tapas de la mer” will be celebrated. Meanwhile, “Mon ami le mal” will be signed by its author, himself the winner of the Azurean edition of the culinary show “Un dîner presque parfait.”

I am a fan of Alex’s cooking, but it’s especially his passion for his job that fascinates me; watching him cook here or at home is always an incredible source of inspiration.” Franck, a cooking enthusiast, is full of praise for his friend.

“I am very happy that Franck can sign his novel at L’Agua, and I am proud to have been the second, after Céline (his wife), to have my copy signed. And then, I’ll probably manage to drag him into the kitchen with me during the evening…” Having arrived at the Port of Nice at the beginning of the year after heading the Club de la Mer in Villefranche, Alex and his brother Serge will take advantage of the evening to launch their new concept of a Bar à Huitres and de Tapas de la Mer. A variation on fish and shellfish, which are the Chef’s specialties, who remains one of the few to work with the equally rare local fishermen. Sea bream, octopus, and John Dory will once again be showcased in the form of these new Niçois tapas.

And you, what are you doing tomorrow evening?
