Fourteen people have died from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours in France, bringing the total death toll to 29,875 since the start of the epidemic, announced the Directorate General of Health in its daily report on Thursday evening.

8,148 people are still hospitalized for a Covid-19 infection. 93 new admissions have been recorded. The balance remains negative in intensive care units, with 573 patients, which is 9 fewer than yesterday.

Furthermore, the DGS reported on “clusters,” these epidemic hotspots, which continue to form in France. Since May 9, it has counted “307 grouped cases since May 9, including 4 in the last 24 hours, but 181 closed.”

Since the start of the epidemic, 104,791 people have been hospitalized, including 18,403 in intensive care.
