The Directorate General of Health reported nearly 17,000 new confirmed coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, setting a new daily record.
The number of infections has reached a total of 606,625 cases, and the number of deaths has increased by 49 to 32,198.
As for the clusters of infection, 80 new ones were detected compared to 93 on Friday.
