The coronavirus continues to spread in France. 18,129 new cases have been detected in the last 24 hours, announced Santé Publique France and the Ministry of Health in their daily report on Thursday, October 8th. On Wednesday, 18,746 people had tested positive.
In total, 7,624 people are currently hospitalized, including 1,427 in intensive care units.
