This Saturday, Public Health France published its data related to the coronavirus in France. In the past 24 hours, 19 new patients have died from Covid-19 in French hospitals. The total number of deaths due to the virus, since the beginning of the epidemic in March, has now reached 29,633 victims, according to the latest figures provided by the organization.
These figures do not take into account the latest deaths that have occurred in nursing homes and medical-social centers, for which an update will be made on June 23.
As of today, 9,837 patients are still being treated in French hospitals. The number of patients with a severe form of the disease continues to decrease in intensive care units, where 715 of them remain hospitalized.
The net number of these patients, taking into account discharges, has remained negative for many weeks.
