France recorded an additional 25,379 cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, according to the latest data published this Wednesday on the government website. This figure is a significant increase compared to the previous day, when 20,489 cases were reported.
This rise in the number of cases is accompanied by a slight decrease in the number of hospitalized patients, with 163 fewer this Wednesday (1,433 in total). In intensive care, the numbers are almost stable, with 9 fewer patients (2,616 in total).
The figures also report 283 new hospital deaths, bringing the total number of deaths since the start of the coronavirus pandemic to 66,565.
