In the last 24 hours, health authorities recorded 26,788 new cases of Covid-19 and 326 deaths in France, according to the latest information provided by the French public health agency.

The total count now stands at 3,810,316 confirmed cases and 87,568 deaths (including 62,595 in hospitals) since the start of the health crisis.

The test positivity rate remains stable at 7.3%. As of March 2, 3,133,478 people have received at least one dose of a vaccine across the national territory.

9,387 new hospitalizations and 1,968 ICU admissions have been reported over the past seven days.

In the PACA Region

In the PACA region, 1,553 people are hospitalized (-4), 472 people are in intensive care (+4), and 5,822 deaths have been recorded in hospitals since the beginning of the crisis (+41).

As of February 28, 241,445 people have received at least their first dose of vaccine (an increase of 5,038), and 130,415 people have received both doses (an increase of 4,378).

In the Alpes-Maritimes, there are 378 conventional hospitalizations (+7), 118 in intensive care (+4), 200 patients in follow-up and rehabilitation care (-4), and 1,088 hospital deaths since the start of the epidemic (+12).
