27 people have died from Covid-19 in the past three days in France, bringing the total death toll to 29,893 since the start of the epidemic, the General Directorate of Health announced in its daily report on Monday evening.

7,850 people are still hospitalized for a Covid-19 infection. 98 new admissions have been recorded. The balance remains negative in intensive care units, with 548 patients, which is 25 fewer compared to Friday.

The DGS also reported on the “clusters,” these epidemic outbreaks, which continue to form in France. Since May 9, it has counted “324 clustered cases, including 3 new ones in 24 hours, but 197 closed.”

Since the beginning of the epidemic, 105,048 people have been hospitalized, including 18,413 in intensive care.
