According to CovidTracker, the incidence rate in France, which is the number of cases per week per 100k inhabitants, is 2,545 positive cases. As a reminder, the alert threshold is set at 50 positive cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

According to the epidemic tracking tool CovidTracker, it is suspected that by January 7, the Omicron variant represents up to 87.0% of the positive cases whose tests have been screened in France.
