The Lenval Foundation has strengthened health measures implemented as part of the public health system by separating access to pediatric emergency services from other departments (medicine, surgery, psychiatry, etc.).
A specific pathway, separate from medical and surgical emergencies, has been set up. This active reception and orientation area has been installed at the entrance of the firefighter access to pediatric emergencies.
Under a tent, hospital staff welcome families to guide them. Depending on the symptoms and particularly the infection risks, children, adolescents, and their parents are first equipped with masks and then received in separate areas from the moment of arrival.
