Based on the advice of the regional health agency, in agreement with academic services, diocesan authorities, and the mayor of Nice, the prefect of Alpes-Maritimes has issued an order to close Nazaret School, for its preschool and elementary sections, until May 26, 2020.
This decision follows a case of COVID-19 in a child who attended this school last week. In accordance with the precautionary principle and following the protocols established by the regional health agency, contact cases have been identified, informed, and placed in quarantine while awaiting the results of the tests conducted.
