The number of people hospitalized for a COVID-19 infection continues to decrease, with 11,678 patients compared to 11,961 on Tuesday, which is a reduction of 283 in 24 hours. The number of severe cases in intensive care, steadily declining for two months, is also continuing to decrease, with 933 cases compared to 955 on Monday (-22).

Regarding infections, the French Public Health Agency reported an additional 545 confirmed cases on Wednesday evening, bringing the total to 155,136 since the beginning of the epidemic.
