According to the daily figures published by the Directorate General of Health (DGS), Covid-19 has claimed 30,182 victims in the territory since the beginning of the epidemic.
“5,957 people are hospitalized for a COVID-19 infection. 436 patients with a severe form are hospitalized in intensive care,” stated the DGS in its press release. The number of people currently in intensive care has therefore decreased by 9 compared to the previous day.
Most notably, “the epidemiological situation is marked by an increase in the number of cases (over 1,000 today). The weekly data from Santé Publique France published this evening confirms the trend observed over the past two weeks,” warns the health authority. It attributes this underlying trend to the relaxation of the “application of preventive measures.”
