The coronavirus epidemic has caused the death of 263 people in the last 24 hours, sharply increasing again after several days of record declines, according to the report published on Monday by the Directorate General of Health on the first evening of the population’s end of lockdown.
2712 people are still in intensive care, 64 fewer than yesterday.
In total since March 1st, at least 26,643 deaths have been recorded.
In the Alpes-Maritimes, the figures show 202 hospitalizations, including 21 in intensive care.
The deaths have increased by 2 units, to 222.
