In the context of the European Year of Volunteering, IMS-Entreprendre pour la Citรฉ is launching the first edition of the Mecenova Challenges in June 2011.
Running to raise funds for sick children, repainting the premises of an association, collecting goods for a food bank…: Throughout the week of June 20, 2011, companies and their employees will volunteer all over France with associations.
In Nice, to support the volunteer commitment of their employees, ten companies have come together to organize a speed-dating event between employees and associations. The aim of the event on June 20, 2011, “Become a Volunteer: Take on the Challenge!” is to allow employees to find their perfect association match!
For a company, participating in the Mecenova Challenges means:
Participating in an inter-company project aimed at employees, in connection with local associations in need of volunteers, and attending an evening event.
Benefiting from the support and expertise of IMS through assistance tools that include an argument guide, a questionnaire, a methodological guide, a booklet of good practices, and practical tools for implementing the Challenges.
Having communication supports: goodies, posters, flyers bearing the Mecenova Challenges emblem, etc.
Having national visibility of the event, thanks to the various tools developed by IMS and the event’s media partners.
