“There are rights and there are duties,” stated Anthony Borre upon his appointment as President of Côte d’Azur Habitat. He announced it and he did it. The President of the most important social housing provider in the department (16,000 tenants).


Thus, several families were received by Anthony Borre, the President, accompanied by a National Police Commissioner, the Director of the Municipal Police of Nice, the Director of the Office, and a Tenant Representative, within the framework of implementing the new internal regulations* which provides a graduated system of sanctions: warning by sworn officers of Côte d’Azur Habitat, formal notice, summons before the Council of Rights and Duties, and litigation with a request for lease termination.

“I wanted to summon three families whose disturbances and violations of the internal regulations of Côte d’Azur Habitat were numerous to give them a final warning before taking legal action. Each of them has committed to cease the disturbances, and I offered one of them specific support from the city of Nice’s services to assist them. Each quarter, I will gather tenants who violate the regulations to remind them of their duties,” commented Anthony Borre.

For the two tenants who did not deem it necessary to attend this summons, Côte d’Azur Habitat will soon initiate lease termination proceedings before the court.
