Council for the Rights and Duties of Families (CDDF): introduction, initial assessment, and signing of the Charter

Latest News

The institutions of Nice are doing everything possible to combat school absenteeism and restore parental authority.
In this regard, the Council for the Rights and Responsibilities of Families (CDDF) was established in Nice on May 17, 2010, making Nice the first major city in France to have a CDDF.

Equipped with a monitoring unit, the CDDF identifies cases of repeated absenteeism and implements support measures for parenthood and delinquency prevention.

A true tool for dialogue and proximity aimed at better listening to families, informing them, and reminding them of their rights and responsibilities towards their children, the CDDF is a partnership mechanism between the city of Nice, the State, the Academy Inspection, and the General Council of the Alpes-Maritimes.

Following the first meeting of the CDDF, there will be a presentation of an initial assessment as well as the signing of the partnership charter between the city of Nice, the State, the Academy Inspection, and the General Council of the Alpes-Maritimes.

The purpose of this charter is to formalize working relationships to provide shared and comprehensive information on absenteeism, incivilities, and precisely define the levels of intervention for each party.
