Covid-19: 14 deaths in 24 hours, calls to SOS Médecins sharply increasing

14 people have died from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours in France, bringing the total death toll to 29,979 since the start of the epidemic, announced the Directorate General of Health in its daily report this Thursday evening.

7177 people are still hospitalized for a Covid-19 infection. 79 new admissions have been recorded in 24 hours. The balance remains negative in the intensive care units, with 512 patients, 17 fewer compared to yesterday.

Calls to SOS Médecins are increasing

“In France, yesterday, SOS Médecins carried out 326 interventions for suspected COVID-19,” the DGS statement specifies. This is 83 more than on Wednesday (243), 111 more than last Friday (215), and 169 more than on Friday, June 26 (157).
