Since March 1, 24,087 people have died in France—427 more in the last 24 hours—with 15,053 deaths in hospitals and 9,034 deaths in social and medico-social establishments.

26,834 people are hospitalized for a COVID-19 infection, and 1,070 new admissions have been recorded in 24 hours. Discharges are more numerous than admissions, with a net decrease of 650 COVID patients compared to yesterday. 7,303 patients are hospitalized in intensive care, 4,207 of whom are affected by COVID-19.

110 new severe cases have been admitted, but the balance remains negative with 180 fewer COVID patients.

While waiting to know if it will be classified as a “red” or “green” territory, the Alpes-Maritimes account for 255 hospitalized people.

This Wednesday, there have been no new deaths, but 7 people have been placed in intensive care.
