1,251 patients have been admitted to the hospital in the last 24 hours and 196 patients have been transferred to intensive care units. In total, 28,258 people are hospitalized (55 fewer than yesterday) and 3,751 are in intensive care (five fewer than on Sunday).
The positivity rate of the tests continues to decrease, standing at 10.9% (11.1% on Sunday, 11.4% on Saturday, 11.7% on Friday, 12.2% on Thursday, and 13% on Wednesday). 408 hospital deaths have also been recorded since yesterday, bringing the death toll to 52,731 in France since the beginning of the epidemic.
According to Public Health France, 3,724 clusters are still under investigation, including 1,589 in nursing homes.
