A total of 85 people have died from COVID-19 in France since yesterday, bringing the total to 31,893 victims. Fifty-nine people passed away in the hospital. In total, 6,500 people are currently hospitalized, including 1,204 in intensive care, which is 28 more than yesterday.
The positivity rate has reached a new high, peaking today at 7.6%. There are 1,265 “clusters,” or epidemiological hotspots, under investigation, 54 of which were discovered within 24 hours. Sixty-four departments are in a high vulnerability situation.
