About ten days before the next phase of lifting restrictions, Public Health France reports a new decrease in epidemic figures. This Saturday, 3,028 patients were hospitalized in critical care in France, compared to 3,544 last Saturday.
In total, 16,847 patients are being cared for in hospitals following a Covid-19 infection. There were 17,272 on Friday and 19,765 last Saturday. This Saturday, 71 new deaths were reported in hospitals across the country.
Regarding vaccination, which will be open to any adult starting Monday, 25,315,595 people have received an injection (or 37.8% of the total population and 48.2% of the adult population) and 10,742,886 people have received two injections (or 16% of the total population and 20.5% of the adult population), according to the General Directorate of Health.
