According to the figures published this Friday by Santé Publique France (SPF), 21,003 people tested positive for Covid-19 with RT-PCR tests and 1,879 with antigen tests on Friday, November 20, amounting to a total of 22,882 new cases in 24 hours.
The country reports 386 deaths in the hospital environment over the last 24 hours. In total, 48,265 people have died from Covid-19 since the beginning of the epidemic. 4,039 clusters are currently under investigation, including 1,539 in nursing homes since November 16.
For the first time since the beginning of the second wave, hospitalizations and intensive care admissions are decreasing from one week to the next: 17,390 compared to 19,940 the previous week for the former, and 2,761 compared to 3,037 for the latter.
