The number of Covid-19 patients hospitalized continued to decrease on Friday, May 28, with more than 17,200 people hospitalized, including 3,104 in critical care, according to data from Public Health France.
French hospitals are currently accommodating 17,272 Covid patients (compared to 17,941 the previous day), of which 539 were admitted in the last twenty-four hours. Critical care services have recorded 3,104 patients, including 155 new admissions (compared to 127 the day before). In the last twenty-four hours, 105 patients have died in the hospital.
Regarding vaccination, which will be open to any adult starting Monday, nearly 25 million people have received one injection (representing 37.3% of the total population and 47.6% of the adult population) and nearly 10.6 million people have received two injections (representing 15.8% of the total population and 20.1% of the adult population), according to the Ministry of Health.
