The incidence rate is 255 in the Alpes-Maritimes, well above the alert threshold set at 200 by the President of the Republic. However, nothing is expected to change in the department, at least for the next few days.
The incidence rate in the Alpes-Maritimes (that is, the number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 inhabitants) has surpassed the 200 mark, reaching 255, as of this Friday, July 23, according to the Santé Publique France website. The prefect of the Alpes-Maritimes has not implemented additional measures to curb the rising number of Covid-19 cases in the department.
In the hospitals of the Alpes-Maritimes, for now, the situation is indeed under control. As of July 22, hospital pressure is only at 11%, and only 10 people are in intensive care for Covid-19. Finally, nearly 60% of the department’s residents have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
