In the Alpes-Maritimes, the situation is giving hope: the number of hospitalized people (244) is decreasing, down by 18 compared to Sunday. Among them, 14 are in intensive care.

The General Directorate of Health has delivered the daily report on the epidemic. Here are some key figures to remember:
– Since March 1st, 28,239 people have died from COVID-19 (+131), including 17,589 deaths in hospitals and 10,650 deaths in social and medico-social establishments.
– 19,015 people are hospitalized for a COVID-19 infection and 375 new admissions have been recorded in the last 24 hours. 1,998 patients with a severe form of COVID-19 (compared to 2,712 a week ago) are in intensive care. 38 new severe cases have been admitted to intensive care. The balance remains negative in intensive care, with 89 fewer COVID-19 patients compared to yesterday.
– Since the beginning of the epidemic, 98,853 people have been hospitalized, including nearly 17,500 in intensive care. 61,728 people have returned home.
