The hospital pressure related to Covid-19 is not easing in France, where more than 2,500 people are currently being treated in critical care units, according to figures published on Saturday by Santรฉ publique France.
In the past 24 hours, 787 people with Covid-19 have been admitted to French hospitals, bringing the total number of hospitalized Covid patients in France to 13,855.
Over the past 24 hours, 53,720 new cases of infection have been recorded. Since the beginning of the epidemic, 120,383 people have died from Covid-19, according to figures from Santรฉ publique France.
