The latest figures from Santé publique France, published this Saturday, provide an idea of the situation: the number of hospitalizations and patients in critical care is stabilizing, although it remains at a high level, and the number of infections continues to (slightly) decrease…

Currently, 30,100 patients are in French hospitals due to Covid-19: this is 348 fewer than the previous day (30,438). Seven days ago, there were 30,329. Among them, 5,958 are hospitalized in critical care (reanimation, intensive care, and continuous monitoring), compared to 5,962 the previous day and 5,877 a week ago. These figures remain high, above those of the second wave in November, but are stabilizing.

An additional 220 deaths due to Covid-19 have been reported in the last 24 hours. There were 309 during the same period the previous day and 189 last Saturday.
