The new epidemiological report by Santรฉ Publique France on Tuesday, December 29, reports 11,395 new cases in the last 24 hours and 384 new deaths in hospitals. Since the start of the epidemic in the country, 64,078 people have died from the coronavirus.
In the Alpes-Maritimes, 26 people have succumbed to COVID-19. Even more concerning, the incidence rate has risen to 295 positive cases per 100,000 people, a figure higher than in all other departments. The number of active clusters remains around 140.
