The incidence rate fell below the threshold of 250 positive Covid cases per 100,000 inhabitants this Sunday in the Alpes-Maritimes, according to the state agency Public Health France.
On February 24, the incidence rate peaked in the Alpes-Maritimes at 642 per 100,000 inhabitants. All other departments in the Provence-Alpes-Cรดte d’Azur region remain this Sunday, April 18, above the “maximum alert threshold.” In the Bouches-du-Rhรดne, it is even at 552.4, more than double that of the Alpes-Maritimes.
This rate is derived from an extrapolation over the entire population based on the number of positive and negative tests.
