In critical care, which accommodates the most severe cases, the decline continues modestly: with 2,217 patients, including 60 admitted in the last 24 hours. For about ten days, the number of patients admitted to intensive care units has fluctuated between 2,200 and nearly 2,300.
The number of cases detected in 24 hours has risen to 10,410. The positivity rate, which measures the proportion of positive cases compared to the number of people tested, remains stable at 2.5%.
In 24 hours, 49 people have succumbed to Covid, bringing the total death toll to 114,905 since the beginning of the epidemic.
On the vaccination front, 49,128,555 people have received at least one dose (representing 72.9% of the total population), and 45,455,314 people now have a complete vaccination schedule (representing 67.4% of the total population).
