This Friday, Charles Ange Ginรฉsy, President of the Alpes-Maritimes Department, thanked the departmental agents involved in the COVID-19 vaccination campaign during a ceremony in the gardens of the Department Hotel, in the presence of numerous elected officials.
The departmental vaccination campaign, which began on January 14, 2021, enabled 163,000 injections to be administered in the Alpes-Maritimes territory.
This campaign was made possible thanks to the mobilization and commitment of the departmental services and nearly 400 agents (departmental administrative, medical, and paramedical agents, private healthcare professionals, temporary workers, and retirees).
In total, 83 municipalities in the medium and high regions were covered through 9 managed centers, including branches, not to mention interventions in 15 colleges, 1 high school, and 6 Maternal and Child Protection centers.
The Alpes-Maritimes Department also provided support in nursing homes, independent living residences, children’s homes, and establishments for people with disabilities.
