324 people have died in the hospital, according to the latest report from Public Health France.
In critical care units, however, the decrease continues with 5,879 patients admitted this Wednesday, about a hundred less than at the beginning of the week, when there were 6,001.
29,911 patients remain hospitalized, including 1,708 admitted since the previous day. 31,539 cases have been detected.
Regarding vaccination, 14,874,991 people have received at least one injection (representing 22.2% of the total population) and 6,061,920 people have received two injections (representing 9% of the total population).
