The latest report from the Ministry of Health now states that 30,312 people have died from Covid-19 in France since the beginning of the epidemic.
The virus continues its activity in the country. While the numbers remain stable with 1,604 new cases, 141 hospitalizations, and 21 admissions to intensive care in the last 24 hours, caution is still necessary.
As proof, Norway has announced that it has classified France as a red zone, making quarantine mandatory for the French who wish to travel to that country.
For its part, the DGS wanted to remind some distancing rules during this heatwave period: “During episodes of extreme heat, it is essential to continue respecting the preventive measures against COVID-19. However, it is necessary to adapt cooling habits for indoor spaces, especially in communal settings, in the context of the COVID-19 epidemic. Fans should not be used in communal closed environments where there are multiple people. They can be used in family settings, in the absence of sick individuals or by a single person. Masks should not be moistened to maintain their effectiveness.”
