According to the latest data from Santรฉ publique France, fewer than 12,000 people are hospitalized for Covid-19 this Wednesday. Currently, 1,873 patients are in intensive care, a level not seen since last October. Only 198 people have been admitted there over the last 24 hours.
In the Alpes-Maritimes, the incidence rate is at its minimum: 20/100,000. As for deaths, 1,975 have been recorded.
Worldwide, the pandemic has claimed more than 3,824,885 lives since the end of December 2019, according to a count by AFP based on official sources.
