There were 5,341 people (compared to 5,273 on Saturday) in intensive care units, which treat the most severe cases of the disease.
The number of hospitalizations continues to rise, with 13,717 patients treated for Covid-19 over the past seven days, including 3,109 in critical care.
Regarding infections, the positivity rate over the past seven days, which measures the percentage of people testing positive for Covid-19 out of all those tested, stands at 7.8%.
The disease has killed 96,678 people since the start of the epidemic in March 2020, including 70,602 in hospitals (+185 in 24 hours).
According to health authorities, more than 9.2 million people have received at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine, and more than 3 million people have received two doses.
