The third wave continues to rise in France. A total of 4,974 Covid-19 positive patients are in intensive care this Monday, March 29, according to Santé publique France. These figures have not been reached since the peak of the second wave, on November 16, 2020.
In total, 28,322 people are hospitalized in the country due to the coronavirus. 2,099 new hospitalizations have been recorded in 24 hours.
France also mourns 362 people who have died in the last 24 hours in the hospital. In total, more than 94,000 people have died from Covid-19 in the country.
