As announced at the City Council meeting on December 13, the city of Nice launched an online pre-registration platform yesterday.
While the vaccination schedule is now almost established in five phases, with the first phase set to occur next month for priority individuals, the city of Nice is taking the lead by providing residents with a pre-registration platform (accessible here).
This initiative aims to anticipate the global situation and implement actions to protect residents with communication campaigns, mask distribution, testing, support for vulnerable individuals… “The health crisis we are experiencing has shown that the State needs local authorities. Only mass vaccination will allow us to return to a more normal life and move as quickly as possible towards herd immunity,” explained Christian Estrosi.
In order to anticipate voluntary vaccination requests and organize logistical needs (such as the necessity to use refrigerated machines at -60°C), everyone must fill out an online form (available here).
