In its report published online this Friday, Santé Publique France records a total of 1,123 patients in critical care, a number that has been steadily declining for several weeks.
In detail, 8,044 patients are being treated in the hospital due to a Covid-19 infection. This number was 8,232 on Thursday, and 9,190 last Friday.
Out of this total, 1,123 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized in critical care. Santé Publique France also reports 24 new deaths in the last 24 hours. In total, more than 111,100 people have lost their lives due to the epidemic in France.
On the cases side, the authorities report having recorded 2,683 new Covid-19 infections in the last 24 hours.
The vaccination continues. “34,329,183 people have received at least one dose (representing 50.9% of the total population) and 23,839,666 people now have a complete vaccination schedule (representing 35.4% of the total population),” states the Directorate General of Health in its daily report.
