This Tuesday, Santรฉ Publique France reported a total of 1,560 patients in critical care. This figure confirms the continued decrease in severe Covid-19 cases, ongoing for several weeks.
In detail, 10,046 patients are hospitalized following a coronavirus infection this Tuesday, compared to 11,895 seven days ago. Out of this total, 1,560 patients are in critical care, compared to 1,952 last Tuesday. 181 new patients were admitted to the hospital.
52 new deaths have also been reported by Santรฉ Publique France in the past 24 hours. In total, 110,858 people have died due to Covid-19 since the start of the epidemic.
In the last 24 hours, 2,204 positive Covid-19 cases have been recorded, according to the data from the health institute.
Regarding vaccinations, “32,441,194 people have received at least one injection (which is 48.4% of the total population and 61.8% of the adult population) and 17,158,112 people have received two injections (which is 25.6% of the total population and 32.7% of the adult population),” announced the Direction gรฉnรฉrale de la Santรฉ (DGS) this Tuesday evening.
In total, 19,196,147 people have a “complete vaccination schedule,” adds the DGS.
