The epidemic continues to worsen in France, where 242 people have died from Covid in the last 24 hours. 17,405 patients are hospitalized, including 2,110 since the day before, according to Public Health France. 3,416 patients are being treated in critical care units – among them, 417 were admitted this Tuesday.
On average, over the past seven days, 87,214 people have tested positive.
Nearly 700,000 people also received a Covid-19 vaccine injection on Tuesday: 46,589 first doses, and 613,757 booster doses. In total, 51,676,653 people have completed the full vaccination schedule (76.6% of the total population) since the start of the vaccination campaign in France. And 23,059,934 people have received a booster dose.
