Health authorities announced this Wednesday, November 4, that 40,558 people tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 24 hours. The death toll now stands at 38,674, with 394 people having died in the hospital since yesterday.
In the past 24 hours, hospitals have recorded 3,681 admissions for Covid-19 infection. Meanwhile, 540 patients have been transferred to intensive care units. In total, 27,534 patients are hospitalized, including 4,089 in intensive care.
According to Santé Publique France, 3,042 clusters are also under investigation in the country.
