It’s in Nice that the Chef has decided to settle down with his knives and pots to reveal the treasures of the local catch and his approach to cooking them. And that gives us Agua, a new place you definitely shouldn’t miss if you pass by the Port of Nice.

We know that Niรงoise cuisine doesn’t heavily feature fish and seafood, except for whitebait and stockfish, but Alexy Frasca doesn’t mind and offers a different menu each day based on the local catch. On the menu: John Dory, Sea Bream, Octopus, Red Mullet, Sea Bass, Bonito, Scorpionfish, Palomide… Happiness is in the dish whether it’s lunchtime with a โ‚ฌ15.50 lunch formula or in the evening with a more elaborate menu.

Meat lovers can rest assured, the chef hasn’t forgotten them with his Angus rib steaks accompanied by garden vegetables and creamy polenta or the delicious Iberian pork presa. And finally, for those with a sweet tooth, the dessert menu will leave no one indifferent with its mint crรจme brรปlรฉes, panna cotta with salted caramel, or crumble ร  la tatin.

But good fish also means good wine, and there it’s Serge, Alexy’s brother, who will introduce you to his wine list, which navigates from the Thau lagoon to the Cรดtes du Rhรดne, passing through the neighboring Var department and its delicious rosรฉs. As you can see, everything at Agua is done as a family affair with the usual friendly smile from the two brothers.
