Villa Masséna will host a cross-border meeting this Monday, January 10th, between two territories that wish to collaborate on projects ranging from high-speed rail connections to sustainable development, including research, innovation, and culture.
Christian Estrosi, Deputy, Mayor of Nice, President of Nice Côte d’Azur, will meet this Monday with Marta Vincenzi, Mayor of Genoa, and the delegation to discuss the complementarities between the two metropolises, based on cross-border cooperation.
This meeting will address the creation of a high-speed rail link between Nice and Genoa, part of strengthening the attractiveness of the Nice Côte d’Azur – Genoa metropolitan area within a Euro-Mediterranean space.
Besides the central issue of transportation, complementarities in the fields of sustainable development, economic development, research, innovation, and culture will also be discussed.
At the conclusion of this meeting, Christian Estrosi will extend his best wishes to the Italian community for the year 2011.
