New season for the Jean Vigo and Rampe Rouge halls, with a more musical program than usual, along with 2 new cinema events. Join us this Friday, October 2 from 6:30 PM to discover the full program!
At the season’s opening, the now customary meeting for the presentation of the program, with the presence of institutional and artistic partners and the team, will be followed by the dance performance “Les Passagers,” created by Cie Eugénie Andrin.
Moving among hundreds of small hourglasses, humanity tries to find a way through. A dance of life, fleeting, under the watchful eye of time.
The Passengers, here, are those who are just passing through. They dance the ephemeral passage of all things on Earth. At the origin of all human life, there is the infinitely small that grows until it is absorbed by a vital vortex. Everything begins with a luminous point on two intertwined bodies at the center of the stage.
Then this ray of light widens, the bodies separate and set off in a spiral, swallowed by the circle… They will live their lives, which is to say their dance.
Music, scenography, and lights serve the show to express the passage of time.
