Until the end of April, the Alpes-Maritimes Department is extending its online cultural programming and adapting the dates of its youth festival “Nananère” to the school holidays. Discover at your leisure the musical broadcasts from Ondes 06 and the plays from the E-theatrals. And for the little ones, the Nananère festival from April 10th to 25th in a 100% digital version.
Dedicated to spreading culture everywhere and for everyone, and a fervent supporter of the local cultural scene, the Department offers a 100% digital and 100% local cultural program during this month of lockdown to be enjoyed from home without moderation.
The words of President Ginésy
For Charles Ange Ginésy: “There is an urgent even vital need for culture. Vital, because culture is our collective soul, it civilizes us and makes us better. Urgent, because the cultural world, live performance venues that are creators of jobs and dynamism, need our support. For us, the Alpes-Maritimes Department, the health situation has in no way affected our determination to guarantee access to culture for the greatest number. Since the beginning of the crisis, we have always provided unwavering support to the local cultural scene.” explains the president of the Alpes-Maritimes department.
“Thus, following the first lockdown, we maintained our subsidies to over 500 cultural organizations and associations, as well as the summer cultural events. We made courageous choices and did not hesitate to reinvent ourselves. Last December, we launched two alternative events: “Sur les ondes 06”, the first music festival on community radio stations, and the “E-Théâtrales 06.”” he adds.
“Today, as France experiences its third lockdown, our commitment to La Scène 06 remains total to bring culture to life in a different way in the daily life of the Maralpins. For the little ones, the 5th edition of the “Nananère” Festival, in a 100% digital version, will offer quality shows, recorded live by the Department’s teams.”
