Culture and Artistic Discovery at Villa Arson in Nice

Latest News

Culture for Access to Basic Knowledge uses art and culture to develop personal fulfillment for people in difficulty, providing them with a certain openness to the world and assisting in their professional integration. The Nice center of this organization (CF2M) specializes in supporting at-risk populations. Its team helps those in reintegration access contemporary art. This project is innovative since during the 3-month internship, the student becomes a spectator. Interns, aged 16 to 25, will be taken from one artistic universe to another, guided by an educational booklet written by professionals in culture and training. They will explore nearby cultural sites, works, and artists of today, as well as engage in artistic activities.
A second chance is thus offered to these individuals to enable them to access training or even a job.

Atmosphere between celebration and discovery

Participants from the first CAPS session will be welcomed at the Villa Arson, with 200 professional training interns in the region.

The program includes artists such as Ben, David Walters, and Thierry Lagalla.

Whether it is music, sound creation, radio production, digital arts, or visual arts, culture will be the highlight of this event.

Also planned are “Round Tables” (at 11:00 and 15:15), meetings among youth, cultural actors, artists, training professionals, politicians, and journalists.

For lunch, a “potluck” will form in the gardens of Villa Arson.

Throughout the day, there will be video screenings, concerts, a guided tour of the villa’s workshops, artistic performances, and other friendly activities.
